The cutting edge Research and Development Team at Bates Australia have spent many years refining and perfecting techniques for incorporating an air cushion into a saddle panel, before reaching a breakthrough in manufacturing method. The CAIR® Air Cushions are shaped and refined at the point of manufacture to provide an even thickness throughout the panel. A unique feature of the CAIR® Cushion System is that the Air Cushions are unable to be adjusted eliminating opportunity for human error. The balance of saddles featuring the CAIR® Cushion System is easily adjusted without compromising the performance of the Air Cushions. The CAIR® Air Cushions themselves can not be over-inflated resulting in bounce, or under-inflated resulting in excessive saddle movement. Saddlers, Vets and Riders can then be relaxed and confident that the CAIR® Air Cushions will provide consistent performance for horse and rider as it’s performance is not dependent on the capabilities of the person adjusting the air levels .
